NCCC at Urban Thistle Farm

For the past 5 weeks the NCCC Americorps Team of Earth 7 has been working at Urban Thistle Farm. During that time, they have finished the community and children's gardens, built 3 geodomes and spread a mountain of mulch. They have volunteered at the CARES Free Store, Rescued Treasures and handled the Birds & Bucks Thanksgiving Distribution. They have received the honor of Bright Spot from the Casper City Council, recognition of appreciation from Casper Housing Authority and attended the NCHT, "The Trust Gives Thanks" event.

Due to their commitment, Urban Thistle Farm is growing fresh, local food for the families in North Casper. The Community and Children's garden are ready for spring planting and the seed library and lab are up and running.
