Storage and transport of reagents: impact of temperature, stabilizers and logistics
Last month we had a shipment delayed at customs for three days, and even though it was packed with ice packs, the reagents didn’t seem quite right when we finally opened them. It really made me think about how fragile some of these materials are, and how much stabilizers or proper cold-chain shipping matter. Do you guys usually trust standard shipping conditions, or do you pay extra for controlled temperature logistics?
