Is it safe to save account credentials in an external manager?

I’m tired of manually typing in a 16-character password every single time I want to check my active weekend slips. I want to use a standard browser vault to autofill my data, but I’m worried it might conflict with the site’s anti-bot detection scripts. Does the authentication interface support external password vaults?

Yes — in most cases it’s completely safe to use a trusted external password manager or browser vault for autofill, and modern authentication systems are generally designed to work with them. Anti-bot protection usually focuses on suspicious traffic patterns, automated login attempts, or scripted browser behavior, not on standard credential autofill from legitimate password managers.

If anything, using a password vault improves security because it allows you to keep long, unique passwords without reusing them across services. Just make sure you’re using a reputable manager with encryption and MFA enabled.

A good overview of practical cybersecurity protections, credential management, and secure authentication practices can be found here:https://www.cybersecureria.com/cybersecurity-for-rias-in-minneapolis-minnesota/

Personally, I’d avoid storing credentials in random browser extensions, but mainstream solutions like Bitwarden, 1Password, Dashlane, or built-in browser vaults are usually compatible with modern login systems.
