Our AC broke down in July and we were desperate. We remembered we had a home warranty and decided to give it a shot. Called the American Home Shield phone number and filed a claim. Within a day a technician showed up and got everything running again. We only paid a small service fee and were so relieved. Now I'm wondering if this is typical or did we just get lucky? Anyone else have experiences with their home warranty claims? Curious if we should renew next year.
