What’s Your Favorite Massage Type in Austin — and Why?

I’ve been trying to figure out which massage style actually helps with tension that builds up after long hours on my laptop. Last week I tried a basic Swedish session, and while it felt relaxing in the moment, the relief didn’t last more than a day. I keep hearing people in Austin rave about different techniques — from deep tissue to those fancier therapeutic ones — but I’m not sure what’s actually worth booking. What’s your go-to, and what made you stick with it?

I came across some great recommendations through this page — massage in austin  — and it pushed me to try spots I wouldn’t have found otherwise. For me, deep tissue ended up being the only thing that made a real difference, especially after dealing with back and neck stuff from years of bad posture. I used to bounce around between different places until I found one that mixed deep pressure with some stretching, which helped a ton. If you don’t mind the stronger pressure, it’s honestly a game changer for that lingering laptop tension.
