Replacing Lawn Mower Blades
I'm trying to replace the blades on a used John Deere D105a I bought last season for the first time, and here's what I'm seeing. I can tell you that I've only ever changed blades with one bolt and nut, but this one has three (I removed several before taking photos), and I'm confused about the center bolts.
Are my center bolts broken and/or stripped, or am I just confused? If so, how do I remove them, and will I need to remove them?

There's no need to remove the center bolt here. It's simply a guide pin. The blade itself is held in place only by the side bolts. Remove them, gently pull the blade down, and it will slide off the sprocket. When ordering new ones, check out the lawnmower replacement blades. They have high-quality blades that fit this system correctly. To install, simply slide the new blade onto the sprocket and tighten the side bolts securely.
