Curriculum

  • Infants (6 weeks-12months)

Babies learn and develop through play by engaging in fun and developmentally appropriate activities.  CHA CARES strives to meet each infant’s individual needs by providing a safe and nurturing environment that promotes exploration in various ways.

  • Toddlers (1-2 years old)

Development at this age is promoted by supervised play and planned activities.  Potty training is a natural progression in your child's development and a big process that takes time and patience. Although diaper changes/potty training are part of the daily schedule, frequent reminders will be given throughout the day. Children will participate in nutrition learning activities through food related activities in the center kitchen.

  • Preschoolers (3-5 years old)

The curriculum our teachers provide to preschool children offers hands-on practical experiences designed to

promote development in language, social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.  Preschool learning activities

occur daily with emphasis on the WY Early Childhood Readiness Standards. Children will also participate in nutrition

learning activities through food related activities in the center kitchen.

  • School Age (6-12 years old)

CHA CARES provides before and after school care to school age children and offer a more relaxed and flexible environment. Various activities are planned however children may work on homework as needed. Children will also participate in nutrition learning activities through food related activities in the center kitchen.
