My boyfriend and I decided to order wedding rings featuring each other’s fingerprints, outlined with tiny gemstones. I saw online that there’s a real craze in the U.S. right now for this kind of symbolic custom design jewelry, where they create pieces with unique textures. Is it actually possible to just send the artisans a high-quality photo of the fingerprint via messenger, or do I need some kind of special scanner to place an order in the U.S.?
